The envelopes opened on time. Grvt's token generation event landed today, July 30, 2026, and the exchange lineup the team refused to name in advance, a silence we covered at length in yesterday's TGE preview, resolved into actual venues within about a day. KuCoin opens GRVT/USDT trading today. Bitget lists GRVT in its DeFi zone with the USDT pair going live at 14:00 UTC, per its announcement carried by GlobeNewswire. Bybit confirmed its own GRVT listing on July 29, per Cryptonomist's coverage. And Coinbase, the name that moves the needle for US readers, switched on GRVT deposits ahead of trading, per Crypto Briefing, its standard prelude to opening an order book. The simultaneous multi-exchange launch Grvt delayed its TGE to arrange turned out to be real, not a stalling story.

That matters beyond this one token, because the embargo pattern worked exactly as coordinated launches are supposed to. Grvt said venues would be named only as each agreement executed, took criticism for the opacity, and then produced four major platforms inside the launch window. The confirmations arriving through exchange announcements rather than leaks also did what embargoes are meant to do: there was no week of tradable rumor for insiders to front-run, and no venue list circulating early for phishing operators to clone. Our guide on how exchange listings work covers why day-one venue lists are treated like price-sensitive material, which they are.

What actually trades today, and what waits

The distinction worth keeping straight is between live order books and staged ones. KuCoin, Bitget and Grvt's own spot market are trading venues today. Bybit's listing is confirmed but announced on its own schedule. Coinbase deposits are plumbing, not a market: the exchange routinely opens transfers first so that when trading starts there is inventory on the book, and it attaches the usual caveat that trading begins once liquidity conditions are met. Anyone reading "Coinbase listing" headlines should check which phase is actually live before assuming a US retail bid exists yet.

For holders, the venue spread changes the airdrop math in one concrete way: recipients now have somewhere to go. A token that launches only on its issuer's own market gives claimants one exit, and launch-day spreads there tend to price that captivity. Four external venues inside the first week mean tighter spreads and real price discovery, though the float mechanics we walked through in yesterday's piece still apply, since only the first batch of the 280 million token community pool is liquid at TGE and the rest drips out over 12 months. The claim itself opens at 21:00 tonight, pre-July 17 registrants receive their first batch automatically, and late registration runs through August 6 at 00:00 UTC on the official portal only.

TGE day is also peak scam season, and a real multi-venue launch gives attackers better camouflage than usual: every fake "claim GRVT on Coinbase" page now has a true-sounding premise behind it. The claim lives inside the Grvt app, no exchange runs it, and nothing about a listing requires you to sign anything. We track the venue board as it fills in on our GRVT listing entry, which moved from announced to listed today and adds a dated row for each exchange as it opens.
