The GRVT token arrives tomorrow. Grvt published its token generation event details, and per Odaily's newsflash on the announcement, the TGE takes place on July 30, 2026, with the airdrop query and claim function opening at 21:00 the same day, no timezone stated in the English report. The pool is now a hard number rather than a percentage: 280 million GRVT, split into 100 million tokens for Season 1 and 180 million for Season 2, released in batches over 12 months. That figure lines up exactly with the 28 percent community allocation of the fixed 1 billion supply that The Block reported when Grvt revised its tokenomics, so the two disclosures corroborate each other, which is more than most launches manage the day before.
There is also a correction to make, and we would rather make it loudly than quietly. Our earlier coverage, including the deadline story we ran on July 23, reported that registration closed on July 27 at 00:00 UTC with unregistered allocations forfeited, sourced to Grvt's own help center at the time. That same help center now lists the registration window as July 10, 2026 at 06:00 UTC through August 6, 2026 at 00:00 UTC. Whether Grvt extended the window alongside the TGE announcement or restructured the deadline for late batches, the practical takeaway is the one that matters: if you earned points across the trading seasons and missed the July cutoff, the official portal will still take your registration for another week. We have updated our GRVT tracker entry to match, and the usual caveat applies twice over during a live TGE: the only registration that exists is on Grvt's own domain, and every other offer is a phishing page with good timing.
How the claim actually works
The mechanics reward people who did their paperwork early. Users who completed registration and selected a receiving chain before July 17 receive their first batch of tokens automatically, no claim required. Everyone who registered later, or whose tokens sit in subsequent batches, claims inside the Grvt app. The clock on each batch is short: tokens not claimed within 30 days of a batch opening expire, per the TGE details. Combine that with a distribution schedule spread across 12 months and the shape of the obligation becomes clear. This is not a one-click airdrop, it is a year-long subscription to remembering. A calendar reminder around the end of each month costs nothing and is, in expected value terms, probably the best-paying task on this page.
The batch structure also changes how launch-day supply behaves. A 280 million token pool sounds like a wall of sell pressure, but only the first batch of it lands at TGE, with the rest dripping out across a year, and multiplier participants who elected deferral in July wait four or eight months beyond that. Anyone modeling the float on day one should count the first batch, the non-community allocations that are liquid at launch, and nothing else. Our safe farming guide covers why distribution schedules matter as much as headline percentages.
The venue question stays open until it opens
What Grvt has still not done, with under a day to go, is name a single exchange. The TGE was pushed from July 21 to July 30 precisely so the token could launch across multiple major venues simultaneously, per Grvt's earlier announcement, and the team has said listing agreements are only revealed as each one is fully executed. At launch the token trades on Grvt's own spot market in any case, and we track the venue situation separately on our new GRVT listing entry, which moves the moment a major exchange confirms by name. The silence is not necessarily a bad sign, coordinated listings are usually embargoed until they are live, but it does mean that any tweet naming a venue before Grvt does is a guess at best and bait at worst.
Claim and query open. First batch auto-sent to pre-July 17 registrants.
Portal open through Aug 6, 00:00 UTC per the help center.
Distributions drip out in batches over a year.
Each batch expires if unclaimed within 30 days.
Tomorrow settles the questions that speculation has been renting for months: the opening price, the real float, and the names of the venues. What it does not settle is the discipline, because a 12 month claim schedule with a 30 day expiry per batch means the GRVT airdrop is less an event than a routine. Set the reminder now, while it is still the day before.
