Grvt's GRVT airdrop is in its claim phase. Registration closed on August 6 at 00:00 UTC, and unregistered allocations are forfeited. A fixed pool of 280 million GRVT pays in batches over 12 months, and each batch expires 30 days after it opens. Grvt publishes no unlock calendar.
Where it stands
The token generation event took place on July 30. Users who registered and chose a receiving chain before July 17 received the first batch automatically. Later registrants claim inside the Grvt app through the reward portal. Grvt's registration guide gives the window as July 10 at 06:00 UTC to August 6 at 00:00 UTC, an extension from the earlier July 27 close.
Two Grvt help articles disagree. The registration guide says August 6, while the claim guide still shows the July 27 cutoff. We use August 6 because Grvt's TGE announcement, as relayed by Odaily and KuCoin, carries the same date.
Unregistered allocations are forfeited.
No exchange deposit addresses. One change allowed.
Grvt, BNB Chain or Ethereum.
Batches over 12 months. Each expires 30 days after opening.
The unlock schedule is where sources part ways.
| Source | What it says |
|---|---|
| Grvt litepaper (official) | A portion unlocks at TGE. The rest follows a 12-month schedule unique to each community member. |
| Grvt help center (official) | Each unlocked batch has a 30-day claim window. A missed window cannot be reclaimed. |
| Crypto Briefing, August 4 | 40% at TGE, then 20% at months 4, 8 and 12, with batches on August 29 and November 29. |
| Cryptoticker, October 5 | No published unlock schedule. The calendar is individual and shown in your account. |
If the August 29 date is right, that batch's 30-day window closed around September 28. We cannot confirm the date, so read your own reward portal instead of any outside calendar. KuCoin's analysis cited a release of roughly 6.39 percent of supply on August 29, against a circulating share near 11.4 percent.
GRVT traded near $0.22 on October 7, according to CoinMarketCap, while Crypto Briefing put the launch price at $0.26 to $0.27. The token trades on Grvt's own spot market and several major exchanges, and our GRVT listing entry keeps the dated venue board.
What is confirmed
Supply is fixed at 1 billion GRVT. Grvt raised the community and airdrop allocation to 28 percent from a planned 22, with the Season 2 share moving from 12 to 18 percent. The Block reported the change, which the team framed as a response to how hard that season was farmed. The company has raised more than $33 million across rounds, including a $19 million Series A in late 2025.
Eligibility is closed. Points were earned through the exchange's trading seasons, and Season 2 ended on June 30. FinanceFeeds reported that platform TVL grew from $11.3 million to $107.1 million and open interest expanded roughly 42-fold. It also put cumulative volume above $393 billion by March, with a monthly peak of $51.6 billion in January. Nothing you do on the exchange today changes your allocation.
The pool is a hard number: 280 million GRVT, split 100 million for Season 1 and 180 million for Season 2. The multiplier plan, which offered a larger share in exchange for deferring distribution by four or eight months, closed its election window on July 17.
Risks and what to watch
Grvt requires a self-custodial wallet address and prohibits centralized exchange deposit addresses, warning that tokens sent to one risk permanent loss. The portal allows exactly one address change, so measure twice. The only live task left is claiming on time.
That is where phishing operators now aim. A token with a year of scheduled claim events gives a year of pretexts for fake claim reminders and expiring-batch emails. The only legitimate path runs inside the Grvt app on Grvt's own domain. Anyone offering to recover a forfeited allocation, reopen registration or unlock a late multiplier is an attacker, and the checklist in our scam guide applies in full.
For how we size programs like this one, the safe farming guide covers the discipline. For a comparable exchange-token setup where the community also did the volume, see our Hyperliquid Season 2 entry. A thin float adds price risk: only about 11.43 percent of supply circulated at launch, so distribution days can move the price.
What to watch:
- Your own reward portal, for the next batch date.
- A Grvt statement publishing the unlock calendar.
- Fake unlock-claim links timed to distribution days.
How to position yourself
- Registration is over. It closed on August 6 at 00:00 UTC, and unregistered allocations are forfeited with no exceptions. If you registered in time, the steps below apply.
- Check that your registered wallet is self-custodial and correct. Grvt prohibits exchange deposit addresses and warns that tokens sent to one risk permanent loss. The portal allows one address change.
- Open the reward portal inside the Grvt app. TGE was July 30. Registrants from before July 17 who picked a receiving chain got the first batch automatically, and later registrants claim in the app.
- Set a monthly reminder and read your own batch dates in the portal. Each batch expires 30 days after it opens. Claim only inside the Grvt app, never through a link someone sends.
Reality check None of these steps guarantee an allocation. Teams change criteria late, add anti-sybil filters, and sometimes never ship a token. Only spend time and gas you are fine writing off.
