Most entries on this board are about tokens that have not been announced. This one is stranger: a token that was announced, with a supply, an airdrop percentage, a venue and a date, and then went quiet at exactly the moment it was supposed to go live. Propr, the on-chain prop trading firm in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, published plans for a PROPR token generation event on August 24, 2026. As we write this on August 25, there is no confirmation the TGE happened, and the tokenomics page that carried the date is no longer reachable, per Cryptoticker's week 35 tracker. We are opening this entry at expected, and the gap between what was promised and what has been confirmed is the entire reason it exists.
What was announced, while it was still announced
The plan, per CryptoDiffer's event listing and Coingabbar's TGE preview, was specific. PROPR would launch with a spot listing on Hyperliquid around $0.03, implying a fully diluted valuation near $30 million, on a fixed supply of one billion tokens. Twenty percent of that supply, 200 million PROPR, was earmarked for a genesis airdrop, fully unlocked at TGE, with 32.5 percent of total supply reserved for user and referral airdrops over the program's life. Eligibility ran through Propr Points, which the project credited at ten points per dollar spent on trading challenges, win or lose, and which were announced as driving two things at once: weekly revenue distributions in USDC and the token allocation at genesis.
The platform underneath is real and operating. Propr is a prop firm built by XBorg and backed by SwissBorg: traders pay a one-time challenge fee, prove themselves on simulated accounts across more than 160 Hyperliquid perpetuals plus Polymarket prediction markets, and graduates trade funded accounts up to $300,000 with a flat 80 percent reward split settled in USDC on-chain, every payout carrying a verifiable transaction hash. Whatever happens with the token, the fee-and-funding business does not depend on it, which cuts both ways: the firm has revenue without a TGE, and holders-to-be have no leverage to force one.
1B supply, 20% genesis airdrop, unlocked.
Spot listing on Hyperliquid at ~$0.03.
Tokenomics page no longer reachable.
Any PROPR claim page is a scam.
How to read a launch that did not visibly happen
There are boring explanations and bad ones, and from outside we cannot tell them apart. Teams slip TGE dates constantly, especially small ones launching into a market that just moved 20 percent in a week; pulling the tokenomics page while terms are re-cut is sloppy but common. The bad version is that the launch terms quietly change against points holders, or that the token simply never ships. What we can say is which behaviors make sense in the meantime. Points already earned cost what they cost; nothing improves them now. Spending fresh money on challenges specifically to farm an unconfirmed token is the worst trade on this page, because the one certainty in the whole story is that challenge fees are collected up front, in cash, by the platform.
The scam surface is the more urgent point. A named ticker, a publicized airdrop percentage and a missed date is the exact setup phishing operations wait for, because impatient farmers search for a claim page the project never shipped. As of today no claim mechanics, contract address or launch confirmation exist from Propr's own channels, so every PROPR claim link is illegitimate by definition, per the logic in our scam guide. The pattern rhymes with other paid-entry programs we track in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, and with unconfirmed farms like Perpl: the venue gets paid regardless, the token is the variable. We will move this entry to live the day Propr's channels confirm a completed TGE with a contract address, and we will mark it accordingly if the program is restructured or withdrawn.
How to position yourself
- If you traded Propr challenges, your Propr Points were announced as the basis for both weekly USDC revenue distributions and the PROPR allocation at TGE, at ten points per dollar spent on challenges. Keep the account and wallet you earned them with.
- Do not chase a claim page. As of August 25, 2026 the project has published no claim mechanics, no contract address and no confirmation that the TGE happened; any PROPR claim link circulating today should be treated as a drainer.
- Watch only Propr's own site and official channels for a TGE confirmation or a revised date, and expect the terms to be restated when it comes: the tokenomics page that carried the August 24 date is no longer reachable.
- Do not buy new challenges purely to farm the token. The airdrop terms are in flux, and a paid points program with an unconfirmed token is the most expensive kind of speculative farm.
Reality check None of these steps guarantee an allocation. Teams change criteria late, add anti-sybil filters, and sometimes never ship a token at all. Only spend time and gas you are fine writing off.
