Avant Protocol, an Avalanche stablecoin project, has set no date for the AVANT token generation event (TGE), the day a token first trades. In May it delayed the launch to mid-September, and Season 1 points stopped on May 15. Its docs still say the claim is not live, and we found no date, claim link or listing as of October 12.

Update, October 7, 2026 The earlier version of this page called the mid-September claim the event. That window has passed, and we found no TGE. We could not read Avant's X account in our check, so a date posted only there would be missing from this page.

Where it stands

Avant is a stablecoin and yield protocol on Avalanche. Users mint avUSD by depositing USDC or USDT and can stake it as savUSD for yield from delta-neutral trading strategies. DefiLlama showed roughly $155 million locked at our September 1 check.

On May 13, 2026 Avant said it was postponing the TGE to mid-September. It cited pressure on DeFi tokens and recent attacks on protocols. Points stopped on May 15, the team kept everyone's balances, and it said the airdrop would proceed as planned.

Season 1 points convert at one rate. A wallet's allocation equals its share of all eligible points, multiplied by the Season 1 airdrop pool. Double the points means double the tokens, with no tiers and no lottery. Wallets projected below 1 AVANT do not appear in the allocation preview, which stays an estimate until the TGE finalizes it. Avant has published its arithmetic, unlike the USD.AI entry, where a live season feeds an unpublished formula.

What the missed target means

The docs still describe the TGE as targeted for September and say the final date will come through official channels. Bitrue's August 31 guide listed no exchange listing date. CoinGecko, checked on October 12, says AVANT is not available to trade on the exchanges it tracks.

We do not know why the date has slipped, and Avant has not said in anything we could read. The team gave market conditions as its reason in May. Its docs have not changed since to name a new window.

A delay does not by itself cancel an allocation. Avant said in May that earned points and airdrop terms stay as announced, and the docs still show the preview. Until a date arrives, though, the allocation is a number in an app, not a token in a wallet. We will move this entry to live only when a claim link appears in Avant's own docs.

Risks and what to do

A confirmed airdrop with a public allocation preview and a lapsed launch window is close to the ideal phishing setup. Thousands of wallets know their number and are waiting for a link. Avant's docs say no live claim site exists, that the official claim link will be announced before the TGE and that Avant never asks for a seed phrase or private key. A safe check is to open Avant's docs from avantprotocol.com and compare any claim URL character by character. Links from replies, direct messages and promoted posts fail that test by default.

If you farmed Avant before May 15, check the preview with the wallet you farmed with, on the official app typed by hand. Note the number, then stop. If you did not farm it, this ship has sailed. Season 1 is closed, and minting avUSD earns product yield, not a published allocation. This is not advice to deposit.

What to watch:

  • A TGE date or claim link in Avant's docs or official channels.
  • An exchange listing announcement for AVANT.
  • Any Season 2 announcement. None exists today.

How to position yourself

  1. If you used Avant before May 15, 2026, connect your wallet to the official app (avantprotocol.com, typed by hand) and check the Season 1 allocation preview. Wallets below 1 AVANT do not appear.
  2. Do nothing else until the TGE. Avant's docs say the claim is not live and that the official claim link will be announced before the TGE.
  3. When a TGE date and claim link are published, cross-check the link against Avant's docs and official X account before you sign anything.
  4. Do not chase points. Season 1 is closed, no Season 2 has been announced, and buying avUSD today earns yield but no published airdrop allocation.

Reality check None of these steps guarantee an allocation. Teams change criteria late, add anti-sybil filters, and sometimes never ship a token. Only spend time and gas you are fine writing off.
