Backfill entry Dating honesty: nothing about Avant happened this week. The Season 1 points program closed on May 15, 2026 and the TGE delay was announced back on May 13. We are adding the fiche now because the postponed launch window, mid-September per the project, is about to arrive, and a confirmed airdrop entering its claim window belongs on this board before the claim opens, not after.

Most airdrop entries on this board are about earning. This one is about waiting, and that difference is worth a page of its own, because the waiting phase is where airdrops hurt people. Avant Protocol, an Avalanche stablecoin project with roughly $155 million locked per DefiLlama, finished its farming phase months ago: Season 1 points stopped accruing on May 15, 2026, the same week the team announced it was pushing its token launch to mid-September because, in its own words, the market environment did not support token issuance. The points survived the delay intact, the airdrop was reaffirmed, and the project has since shipped the most useful thing a waiting-phase airdrop can ship, a per-wallet allocation preview inside the official app showing exactly how much AVANT each eligible wallet is projected to receive.

The mechanics behind the preview are refreshingly plain. Per the project's docs, every eligible Season 1 point converts at the same rate: your allocation equals your points divided by the total eligible points, multiplied by the Season 1 airdrop pool. Double the points, double the tokens, no tiers, no lottery. There is a floor, wallets projected below 1 AVANT do not appear in the preview, and there is a boundary, the preview is an estimate until TGE finalizes it. But compared with the sealed-envelope conversions we complain about on the USD.AI entry, where a live season feeds an unpublished formula, Avant has already shown its arithmetic.

What to do between now and TGE

If you farmed Avant before May 15, the checklist is short. Check the preview with the wallet you farmed with, on the official app typed by hand. Note the number. Then stop, because everything that matters next happens on Avant's schedule, not yours. The docs are explicit that the claim process is not live and that the official claim link will be published through official channels before TGE, alongside a warning we would print in bold if we could: do not trust links shared by unofficial accounts. A confirmed airdrop with a public allocation preview and an announced launch window is close to the ideal phishing setup, thousands of wallets that know a number and are waiting for a link. Our scam guide covers the pattern, and Avant will be a textbook test of it: expect fake claim sites the day any TGE date firms up, if not before.

If you did not farm Avant, the honest note is that this ship has sailed. Season 1 is closed, the docs describe the rewards program as historical, and no Season 2 exists as of our September 1 check. Minting avUSD today gets you the protocol's delta-neutral yield, which is a product decision, not an airdrop strategy, and it earns no published allocation. We list the entry anyway because the tracker's job runs through the claim, not just the farm: the difference between a clean claim and a drained wallet is usually decided in exactly this window, after the points freeze and before the official link, when attention is high and the real interface does not exist yet. The delay itself reads as a reasonable decision rather than a red flag, a team declining to launch a token into a tape that was punishing DeFi launches, and the May promise has so far been kept in the only ways that are checkable: points retained, preview shipped, window named. Mid-September is now. When the claim link appears, this entry moves to live, and the only link we will point to is the one in the project's own docs.

How to position yourself

  1. If you used Avant before May 15, 2026, connect your wallet to the official app (avantprotocol.com, typed by hand) and check the Season 1 allocation preview; wallets below a 1 AVANT minimum do not appear.
  2. Do nothing else until TGE. The claim process is not live, and Avant's own docs say the official claim link will be published through official channels before launch; any claim page circulating before that is a scam by definition.
  3. At TGE, tentatively mid-September per the project, connect, review the terms and claim through the official interface only. Cross-check the link against the project's official X account and docs before signing anything.
  4. Do not chase points now. Season 1 is closed, no Season 2 has been announced, and buying avUSD today earns yield but no published airdrop allocation.

Reality check None of these steps guarantee an allocation. Teams change criteria late, add anti-sybil filters, and sometimes never ship a token at all. Only spend time and gas you are fine writing off.
