South Korea's second exchange picked a live one this time. Bithumb opened Korean won trading for Lorenzo Protocol's BANK at 3:00 PM KST on July 27, 2026, per the exchange announcement relayed by TradingView's listing calendar, with deposits and withdrawals running over BNB Smart Chain and, per Koin Bulteni, the standard opening guardrails applied, including a brief freeze on buy orders in the first minutes of trading. Unlike the drawdown stories Korean exchanges listed earlier this month, Euler at 93 percent off its high among them, BANK arrived mid-breakout: the token had spent July turning into one of the month's loudest movers.

The rally the listing landed on

The numbers deserve the skepticism we bring to anything that moves this fast. Per Tapbit's write-up of CoinGecko data, BANK traded around $0.246 on July 20, up more than 100 percent in twenty-four hours and close to 500 percent on the week, which places the token near four cents in mid July. The move kept going after that check: CoinGecko records an all-time high of $0.5294 set during the run, and as of July 28 CoinMarketCap shows BANK in the high $0.30s at $0.3854, a market capitalization near $295 million, rank 216, and about $302 million in daily volume, a figure that exceeds the market cap and tells you exactly how hot the trading is. For scale, the token's all-time low was $0.02244, so the July peak marked better than a twenty-fold recovery from the floor.

What the market is buying is the BTCfi narrative with an asset-management wrapper. Lorenzo tokenizes yield-bearing products through what it calls a Financial Abstraction Layer and issues On-Chain Traded Funds, fund-like tokens whose strategies run on-chain, with bitcoin-based yield among the flagship offerings, per CoinMarketCap's project description. In a month when yield-bearing bitcoin products kept surfacing in listing flow and protocol announcements, BANK became one of the cleanest pure plays on that theme, and July's chart is what a narrative finding its ticker looks like.

What Bithumb adds, and what it cannot

BANK did not need Bithumb for liquidity. Binance has carried the deepest market since opening spot trading on November 13, 2025, per CryptoNews's listing tracker, and per CoinMarketCap the BANK/USDT pair there still accounts for roughly a third of all volume. What a KRW pair adds is a different buyer: domestic Korean retail flow, the same cohort whose arrival has repriced tokens from Derive to Euler this month. The difference is the entry point. Korean traders are not buying a forgotten token at the bottom of a drawdown; they are buying an active breakout roughly 27 percent below a week-old all-time high, on volume that already exceeds the market cap.

Per our framework in the exchange listings guide, listings amplify what is already happening; they rarely reverse it. The question this page will track is whether the won pair still prints real volume once the BTCfi rotation cools, or whether July 27 marks the moment maximum attention met maximum price. A token up this many multiples inside a month can validate the narrative or round-trip it, and history is not shy about which happens more often. Nothing here is trading advice; the status above says listed, and the chart says be careful.

Not financial advice Listings often spike and then bleed once the initial hype unwinds. Nothing here is a suggestion to buy this token. Verify dates on the exchange's own announcement page before trading: schedules slip.
