Aligned went from unlisted to trading on two venues in a single day. The Ethereum zero-knowledge infrastructure project held its token generation event on August 20, 2026, with the token going live in the afternoon UTC, and KuCoin and Bitget both opened ALIGN/USDT spot trading at 19:00 UTC that evening, per Coin Gabbar's listing coverage. KuCoin dressed its launch up as a World Premiere with a KCS holder airdrop bolted on, while Bitget opened deposits immediately and scheduled withdrawals for August 21 at 20:00 UTC. The third name on the marquee is the interesting one: Coinbase added ALIGN to its listing roadmap on August 14, per KuCoin's news desk, and has generated a deposit address, but transfers remain locked while the token works through technical, legal and compliance review. Roadmap inclusion is not a listing, a distinction our exchange listings guide covers in detail, but a roadmap entry six days before TGE is about as strong a signal as Coinbase gives without flipping the switch.

What Aligned actually ships

Zero-knowledge proofs are the compressed receipts of crypto: they let one party prove a computation happened correctly without anyone re-running it. The catch is that verifying them on Ethereum costs real gas, and every rollup, bridge and zk application pays that toll constantly. Aligned's pitch is to make verification cheap at scale. Its proof verification layer runs in mainnet beta, and its aggregation service batches many proofs into a single on-chain check, so the cost of one verification spreads across everyone in the batch. That places ALIGN in the same infrastructure lane as other proving-market tokens we track, such as Cysic's CYS, where the bet is that zk usage keeps compounding and the picks-and-shovels layer captures a slice of every proof. It is a real, live product category rather than a narrative token, though the revenue question, how much of that verification flow converts into value for the token, remains as open here as everywhere else in zk infrastructure.

The supply picture at launch is thin by design. Total supply is fixed at 10 billion ALIGN with roughly 16 percent circulating at TGE, per Coin Gabbar, and the full allocation splits as follows, per KuCoin's tokenomics coverage: 23.5 percent to the team, 19.71 percent to investors, 18 percent to ecosystem, 16.61 percent to future reserves, 11.4 percent to the foundation, 8.74 percent to the airdrop and 2.04 percent to community sales.

The airdrop claim and what to watch next

The community distribution runs alongside the listings rather than before them. Claims go through the official portal at community.alignedlayer.com, and the terms are tiered, per Coin Gabbar: wallets allocated 10,000 ALIGN or less receive everything at TGE, while larger allocations take 10,000 upfront and vest the rest monthly over 12 months. That structure softens day-one sell pressure from the biggest recipients, which matters on a 16 percent float. The usual claim-day hygiene applies with extra force on a token this fresh: the only legitimate claim surface is the official portal, no real claim ever asks you to pay first, and lookalike domains tend to appear within hours of any TGE.

From here the events list on this page has two likely additions. The first is Coinbase converting its roadmap entry into live trading, which, when it has happened for other roadmap tokens, has tended to follow within weeks rather than months, though nothing obliges it to. The second is the usual second wave of venues that follows any launch with real volume. We would also keep an eye on the vesting calendar rather than the candle: with team and investor buckets making up over 43 percent of supply, per KuCoin's coverage, the unlock schedule will shape the float long after launch week noise fades, and our tokenomics guide walks through exactly that exercise. Fresh listings are market-structure events first and fundamentals referendums later; this page will track the venues and status changes as they land. Nothing here is trading advice.

Not financial advice Listings often spike and then bleed once the initial hype unwinds. Nothing here is a suggestion to buy this token. Verify dates on the exchange's own announcement page before trading: schedules slip.
